This is a tough question. I would think as of right now it would not be beneficial to redo the series at this point. However that’s not to say they shouldn’t later on down the road. With FMA the original series was good and the series in general had a huge fanbase so to redo it in Brotherhood was beneficial for the company since their fanbase and revenue was already promising.

Blue Exorcist has a pretty decent fanbase from what I’ve seen and the series and upcoming movie may build up enough for them to consider redoing the show at a later date or at least giving us a second season. The Impure King Arc can still be worked in possibly as of right now and I wouldn’t mind seeing that. Unless of course they are planning that for the movie. 

Personally I would love for them to give me anything new for Blue Exorcist but I adore both the anime and manga to death. I can only hope later on down the line they give us a second season or reboot of it.
